Will Award $4000 to Environmental Group Selected by Community

Consumers can cast their ballots in the Patagoniastore from June 10 through July 19 in a “ Voice Your Choice ” campaign that marks the newest initiative in Patagonia ’ s well-known support of environmental causes. Local groups nominated for the award are North Shore Community LandTrust ( www.northshoreland.org ), KAHEA ( www.kahea.org ), Earthjustice ( www.earthjustice.org ), Defend Oahu Coalition ( www.defendoahucoalition.org ), and Sierra Club Hawaii ( www.hi.sierraclub.org/oahu ). The candidates were selected by Patagonia store members based ontheir local focus and range of environmental concerns. Consumers can learn more about the groups by checking out theirwebsites, visiting the store, or viewing the Patagonia Hale ’ iwa webpage ( www.patagonia.com/haleiwa ).
